Red Riding Hood was a short “backup comic” to Tales To Behold, the second story of the webcomic The Cosmic Beholder. Written and drawn by Paul Hoppe, it was released both in serialised webcomic form and in a limited print run as part of Tales To Behold #1.
It did not feature Jenny Nowhere, Jenny Everywhere, or indeed any preexistng The Cosmic Beholder characters; instead it introduced the “Beholderverse” versions of public domain characters Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf, who would go on to appear in further Cosmic Beholder stories in a way that cemented their existence in the same continuity as the mainline comics.

Plot
Trying to ferry secret documents to her superior (codename: “Grandmother”), the superspy Red Riding Hood is attacked by a rival secret agent, a werewolf who simply takes a pill to transform into a super-strong wolf-man. The two begin to fight, the Wolf pitting his unnatural strength against Red Riding Hood's high-tech gadgetry. Partway through the battle, however, the two halt, look at each other in puzzlement — and fall in love at first sight. Later, lying in bed together, they agree to work together to take down Grandmother with the help of an acquaintance of Red Riding Hood's called Hunter.
