One of William Shakespeare's plays, often studied in English class in Britain in at least one universe, concerned itself with Henry V. In Shakespeare's telling, at one point, Henry “stirred up” his comrades into battle with a “rousing speech”, which began with “Once more unto the breach, dear friend(s), once more…”.
