Electro was one of several superheroes from the Foxverse whom Dynamite Thor acknowledged as more effective than him; he would relate to Jenny Over-There how Electro, the Spider Queen and the Dart's effectiveness at cleaning up the streets had been part of the impetus behind him moving to the 925th Universe, where he hoped he would be more useful. Behind the scenes
Like Dynamite Thor, Electro was a short-lived 1940s superhero comics character in stories published by the Fox Features Syndicate, who subsequently entered the public domain. Unlike Dynamite Thor, Electro was actually two short-lived 1940s superhero comics character in stories published by the Fox Features Syndicate, who subsequently entered the public domain; the first, debuting in 1940, had the civilian name of Jim Andrews and was eventually renamed “Dynamo”, while the second, introduced in 1946 with no reference to his predecessor, had the civilian name of Richard Darrow. Both characters were scientists who used the strange electric powers granted to them by their discoveries for superheroics. It is unclear which of the two Electros Callum Phillpott intended to reference; given his difficulty telling the Man in Grey apart from the Man in Gray, it is not clear that Dynamite Thor himself would know either.
Fox's heroic Electros share their name (and basic framing as super-humans with electricity-based abilities) with the recurring Spider-Man villain of the same name, who is not in the public domain.
