The “Frost King's Treasure incident” was what the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids called an event which occurred in December 2019, (PROSE: Father Christmas) and which saw Director Darius lure a variety of beings from across the Multiverse to the land of Manik on a treasure hunt seeking the bounty of the Frost King. History

By December 2O19, Prime Universe time, the Frost King had been absent from Manik for some time. His very existence, and that of his legendary hoard of miscellaneous treasure, had become a half-forgotten legend to the people of the village next to the mountains. Darius crashed Doctor Curious's Void Ship next to his throne (which was located in a crater at the top of the tallest of the mountains) and adopted it as a base for a while, luring a collection of his enemies there with promises of the King's treasure.

Among those who received the invitation were the Gang of the Green Gorilla, who, not possessing interdimensional technology, never made it to Manik, but also Interdimensional Tavern staff and regulars Alistair Neezley, Tpxszum and Frederick; Copper-Colored Cupids Dandy-432, Larrikin-1029 and Pessimist-242; the Collective of the Retconning Crocodiles; Madame Tarsa; the New Wellsian Empire; and the Order of the Automata (who sent 21-419).

Darius proved to have bitten off more than he could chew when these gathered foes overpowered him and banished him. Dandy-432, who was one of their number, then accidentally broke one of the huge ice-throne's legs and discovered the treasure. Though they didn't deplete it completely, all the treasure-seekers then had their pick of the loot, little suspecting that the ghostly Frost King returned soon after they'd all departed, baffled at what had happened in his absence.
