Venus, named for the deity, was, in at least some universes, one of the planets of the solar system. One version of it was known to the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids as “Colony World #2”, being the location of one of their few outposts beyond the Cupid Homeworld.
History
In the 97th Cosmos
In the 97th Cosmos, Venus was uninhabited and the “closest neighbour” of Earth. (VIDEO: The Wellsians) It was extremely hot and had strong atmospheric pressure. Its sky was an eerie pinkish colour, and there was no ice anywhere on the planet, though there was some snow made of bismuth sulfide in the mountains. (PROSE: The Resurrection of the Wellsians)
After the failure of their invasion of Earth, the five surviving Wellsians crash-landed on Venus. (VIDEO: The Wellsians) By 2019, this Venus had been branded as “Colony World #2” by the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids, (PROSE: The Wellsians) who had built a base called Morningstar 1 there. (PROSE: The Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids) It was there that Mandragora-257 distilled the alchemical Pure Elixir, but, as the base's overseer pointed out to him, a liquid that turned everything to gold was of limited use on a “barren planet”. (COMIC: All That Sparkles Is Not Concrete) After being found by the Cupids (VIDEO: The Wellsians) and resurrected by Mandragora's Great Experiment, (PROSE: The Resurrection of the Wellsians) the Wellsians escaped to the Interdimensional Black Market. (PROSE: The Grand Multiverse Hotel) As a result of these events, Morningstar 1 was destroyed. (PROSE: The Resurrection of the Wellsians)
In the Prime Universe
In the Prime Universe, Venus was inhabited. (PROSE: The Resurrection of the Wellsians)
