Nanite

Nanites were microscopic robots.

In one universe, Jenny Everywhere had nanites embedded in herself, which could also be called “nanobots” or “nanotech monsters”. Although they itched, they could be used by Jenny to rearrange her features in an instant, serving as a perfect disguise. (PROSE: John Dee, Jenny Everywhere: Round One)

In Reality Z-25 31-H, Emerald Valkyrie's E-Valkyrie suit included “self-repairing nanites” which could help her heal from any injury, but they were powered by the armour's bio-engine, such that they wouldn't activate at all if she was in too bad a condition unless a different biological power source was provided.
