In one universe, angels and demons existed and could be summoned to Earth (as late as the early 21st century) through such things as rituals or Enochian incantations.
John Dee was an immortal, villainous Renaissance magus native to this universe. He faced off with the local Jenny Everywhere, who was herself part-demon, on several occasions, starting with a memorable first encounter at a club in Stoke-on-Trent. (PROSE: John Dee, Jenny Everywhere: Round One)
