Griffin

Griffins, or gryphons, were beings with mammal body-plans and wings on their backs on top of four ordinary limbs. They had eagle-like heads with feline ears.

The Griffins of the Sixth Realm were sentient and bipedal, and a type of demon. Merv the Griffin, one such Grififn, was once summoned to another world by a witch and bound to said world until he accomplished a particular task (in this case, slaying Captain Evening). In 2019, while running away from one of the Queen of the Black Market's Wraiths in the Interdimensional Black Market, Darius and Tracker-764 “duck[ed] under the legs of an enormous gryphon” before “brush[ing] past a gang of imps attempting to swindle an old sheep with glasses out of her wallet”.
