Gilgamesh was one of the mythical figures who took refuge in the hitherto-interdimensional Red Lion Inn in the Collapsed Cosmos. Gilgamesh was a legendary Sumerian king and the protagonist of the Epic of Gilgamesh, one of the oldest surviving works of written literature in human history. He was depicted therein as a demigod with supernatural strength.
