Many realities were home to powerful entities referred to as Gods, who were often worshiped or otherwise considered to have domains and patronages.

In the Prime Universe, Zeus once ruled over the Gods of Olympus. In the 7th century, with the rise of Christianity proving impossible to counter, the Olympians ultimately met up and decided to all formally retire.
