Hans (24 Hour Comic 2019)
In one universe, Hans was the name of the boy who naively pointed out the Emperor's nudity during the events of The Emperor's New Clothes.
Many years later, Hans was part of a peasant revolt against the Emperor, who was twisted into a bitter tyrant by his public humiliation. After the Emperor was ousted by Baron Tarquin's Council of Lords, only for the rebels to gain the upper hand when Greta Överallt, Jenny Everywhere and Jenny Anywhere abducted Tarquin to the interdimensional city of Shelterville.
By coincidence, Hans was the rebel soldier the Jennies picked to come collect Tarquin and take him into official custody on behalf of the new government, bringing him to Shelterville. Already baffled by his sudden discovery of the existence of other dimensions, Hans was further surprised to stumble upon the Emperor himself, recently exiled to Shelterville by Greta. Falling to his knees, Hans apologised for his childhood conduct, only for the Emperor to take responsibility for his pride and foolishness, absolving Hans of any guilt. (COMIC: 24 Hour Comic 2019)
