In Reality Z-25 31-H, Maddie, or PhyreFrost, was one of the superheroes of Angel Falls.

Description

Physical appearance

PhyreForst was a thin, muscular woman in early middle-age. She had blue eyes and mostly reddish-blond hair which she kept in a long pony tail — except for graying bangs over her forehead. Her costume included a yellow leotard adorned with a red-and-blue snowflake alluding to her dual elemental nature, as well as yellow knee-high boots and long, white-and-blue gloves. (COMIC: Kate Five vs Symbiote - Chapter 3)

Personality

As her mentor, PhyreFrost felt responsible for Ms. Blitzen's safety and was deeply loyal to her. However, she could sometimes be somewhat thoughtless in a crisis, failing to evaluate risks accurately. (COMIC: Kate Five vs Symbiote - Chapter 3)

Powers & abilities

PhyreFrost, as her name implied, could manipulate both ice and fire, able to send beams of fire or sharp shards of ice at opponents. (COMIC: Kate Five vs Symbiote - Chapter 3) She could also fly. (COMIC: Kate Five vs Symbiote - Chapter 2, Kate Five vs Symbiote - Chapter 3)

Biography

She was contacted by City Hall when Marcus told them where Kate Five was, and transmitted the information to her fellow superhero and mentee Ms. Blitzen, alias Emily. It was then Blitzen who confronted Kate. (COMIC: Kate Five vs Symbiote - Chapter 2)

PhyreFrost attends by the wounded Ms. Blitzen's hospital bed. (COMIC: Kate Five vs Symbiote - Chapter 3)

Blitzen was nearly killed by the Symbiote-possessed Kate, who was much stronger than they'd anticipated. PhyreFrost intervened in person just in time to serve a wounded Blitzen's life as Kate prepared to suck out her soul with a deadly kiss, attacking Kate with both fire- and ice-based attacks as her powers implied. She was able to get Blitzen to safety and, after Kate fled, watched over Blitzen in hospital. They were visited by Kate's old Section P teammates as well as a third Guardian, Hailey Storm. When a furious Hailey tried to blame Section P leader Sir James Carey for what had happened to Blitzen, insofar as he hadn't given her enough warning of what she was up against, PhyreFrost defended him, taking the blame instead; she believed Blitzen's ordeal was her fault, as it was her who'd told Blitzen to go to the boardwalk to confront Kate alone. (COMIC: Kate Five vs Symbiote - Chapter 3)

Behind the scenes

PhyreFrost, alias “Madelyne Leslie Malone”, was, like Ms. Blitzen, the creation of Knight3000, used in Kate Five with permission.
