Gnomes were a species of small, somewhat magical humanoids with large ears, often sporting beards and wearing pointy hats.

Gog and Mim were two gnomes from a fantasy universe where humans were nearly unheard-of. They did not appear to age, and lived in a hollowed-out, giant mushroom converted into a house. Gog, the male one, wore a pointy hat and sported a bushy white beard.
