In one universe, a “slightly stylised” robotic cat served as the librarian of the Neptunian Orbital University.
It was a former Altern SmartPet, repossessed by Altern and modified to give it a new purpose after its owners traded it in for a more cutting-edge iteration. As a Librarian, it had the power of speech and could scan library cards with its tongue. (PROSE: Extradimensional Experiments)
