The Syndicate of the Sleeping Salamanders was one of the Strangely-Colored Secret Societies of the Prime Universe, made up of mutated, sentient salamanders.
One Sleeping Salamander was among the inmates at the Drove of the Database-Compiling Dromedaries's Research Laboratory 6 in the Prime Universe by the time they captured Pessimist-242 of the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids. It took part in the mass escape staged by Pessimist, but decided to take a nap on the stairs halfway through. This proved unexpectedly helpful when the fourth security guard tripped over the salamander while trying to escape to warn reinforcements. (PROSE: Pessimist and the Dromedaries)
