William Shakespeare, also known as the Bard of Avon, was a notorious 17th-century playwright.
He existed, among others, in the Prime Universe. A collection of his plays was published in the First Folio of 1623. Due to time-travelling interference from Conspiracy-1263 and the Multi-Coloured Medic, a gibberish play entitled The Christmas Cacophony was also printed in the book under his name. (PROSE: The Case Against Conspiracy)
He also existed in Jenny Bainbridge's universe, where his plays, including Henry V, were common subjects for teenagers' English classes. (PROSE: The Genesis of Jenny Everywhere)
