Subcinctus was the home planet of the Vormerschuiving, a shapeshifting species. The planet became the heart of the Consistency Imperium during the time it was active. After the destruction of the Imperium's Palatium and the end of the Rifts Crisis, the Vormerschuiving returned to being a normal civilisation, though still under the leadership of Vertolin, who had headed the Imperium. (PROSE: The Time of the Toymaker) CS-NA was built on Subcinctus during the Imperium's rule, and was thus programmed with Subcinctan Audial Code as his default method of communication. (PROSE: The Winter Quests)
