The Department of Alchemy was one of the Departments of the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids's Intelligence Institute.
After he lost the formula for the Love Potion, #257, who had been the Prefect of the Department of Chemistry, was transferred to the Department of Alchemy. (PROSE: The Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids) Taking to alchemy, he took the name of Mandragora-257 and became disdainful of mere scientists.
