In one universe, Thoth was a cat who lived with Steven, (PROSE: Morning After) a neighbour of Jenny Everywhere's who was a wizard. (PROSE: Pit Stop) Thoth was capable of speech and reasoning, though he retained a cat-like outlook, being primarily concerned with his peace and quiet and where his next can of tuna would be coming from. He referred to Steven as his familiar instead of the reverse, (PROSE: Morning After) and claimed that he was the primary tenant of the apartment with Lucas being his pet — although Kim thought he may have been lying on this point. (PROSE: Fragment: Fanfic Critique)

On the day after Jenny's adventure running errands for her other selves, Jenny bumped into Thoth on her way back to her apartment after speaking with David. Thoth informed her that Professor Awesome was “doing some mad science again” and might need checking in on, “one pair of thumbs to another”. (PROSE: Morning After)

In expectation of wanting to inconspicuously catch a glimpse of Santa Claus's flyover on Christmas, Jenny later borrowed an Amulet of Unheeding from Steve and Thoth. (PROSE: Watch the Skies)
