After she is told by a friend of hers that there is currently no significant supervillain to defeat or mystery to solve, [[New York City]]'s superpowered protector [[Centennia]] falls back on investigating the one crime with any kind of strange feature to it, the mass theft of kosher sausages. After an investigation that involves everything from threatening to break some henchmen's car to rope-skipping with a group of little children, she finally tracks down the culprit, who turns out to indeed be a supervillain after all — a sorcerer named [[Nefario]] who has been assembling a [[Sausage Golem]]. Centennia has no trouble knocking out Nefario and his henchmen and destroying the golem before it can come alive, although she damages her outfit, regretting her decision not to bother with her superhero costume for what she thought would be a minor mission.
