The Wellsians was a Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids short story written by Aristide Twain as an in-universe introduction to a blog post linking to the then-recent video The Wellsians.
Contents
Plot
A recent “resurgence of blood-sucking tentacular aliens in impenetrable three-legged war machines” around “Colony World #2” prompts some party within the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids to republicise the Crew's old Fact File on the Wellsians, even though the Cupid Parliament has issued an official statement that the reports of reborn Wellsians are “nothing to worry about”.
Worldbuilding
Universes
- The story takes place in the Cupid Homeworld.
Continuity
- This short piece ties in with VIDEO: The Wellsians, and seems to postdate the events of the then-upcoming PROSE: The Resurrection of the Wellsians. In light of the latter story and its sequels, it is likely Pythagoras-858 or Juliet-178 was responsible for the message.
