Pan-dimensional speedsters were car-sized starships with Void Ship capabilities.
Nature
One speedster's “lowest setting” was still “many hundred times the speed of sound”, and they could travel much faster than light, which was what allowed them to tear through the fabric of reality and travel to the Void and beyond. Each near-instantaneous thrust of motion by a speedster produced an ear-shattering “bang”, and from the cockpit, drivers would have the impression of speeding through a vortex of many intermingled dimensions, even though they were actually technically visiting them one by one at extreme speed. History
Lilathia and Brutus, the last two remaining inhabitants of a nameless planet in the Prime Universe, each possessed a pan-dimensional speedsters, with the two being of slightly different designs. They used them in 2019 in a Cross-Dimensional Grand Prix meant to bring a resolution to their long-standing feud. After the Grand Prix was declared a tie by neutral arbiter Marksmanship-522, Lilathia gave him her speedster to replace his Fog Ship, which she'd destroyed by ramming the speedster into it in order to strand Marksmanship on her and Brutus's planet and thereby leave him no choice but to arbitrate the race. After returning to the Cupid Homeworld in the speedster, Marksmanship donated it to the Department of Transportation and acquired a new Fog Ship, having found the experience of travelling by speedster very unpleasant.
