King Solomon is a mythologised figure from Israelite history, highlighted in the Torah/Old Testament for his wisdom as a ruler and a giver of judgment. Although Solomon himself is generally presented as drawing some of his qualities from the approval of God on the one hand, and frequently depicted as having had some “magical” abilities on the other (particularly in the realm of binding demons), “the Wisdom of Solomon” is not usually presented as some transferable, supernatural element, as it is in The Hermetic Garbage of Jenny Everywhere.
