Universe B (Family Business)

Jenny Everywhere's girlfriend Pixie Pristine was a pixie, also referred to as a fairy or faerie, from one universe. She appeared as a human-sized woman with blue butterfly wings, and had various magical powers. Fairies from this world generally couldn't have children with mortals, hence the existence of changelings, although there were exceptions. After she got into trouble with the “faerie bigwigs” of this world, Pristine faced having her voice taken away as payment for a perceived offence. Jenny helped her escape to another, nearby universe.
