In “another dimension” from the one where Mystepolia existed, Lord Grallyx was sealed inside a sun for a billion years by beings known as the Disciples of Golden Light. He was eventually freed when Laura Drake of Mystepolia used the Triangular Bisector to attempt to siphon energy from the heart of this randomly-chosen alien sun, and summoned Grallyx into her reality along with it.
