Toy soldier

A battalion of toy soldiers were among the living toys created by Madame Tarsa but later consigned to the Labyrinth within her magic Toybox for being faulty or otherwise troublesome.

They were made of tin, with hand-painted faces and uniforms. Each had a wind-up key in its back and carried a musket over its shoulder, capable of firing real shots. The toy soldiers were trapped in a room within the Labyrinth, opposite the door to Wild West Town, until Pessimist-242 and Larrikin-1029's trek through the Labyrinth, during which they accidentally released the soldiers, who walked out in formation and started shooting indiscriminately. The two Cupids took refuge in Wild West Town, and, when they returned to the corridor, found no sign of the toy soldiers. (PROSE: The Toymaker's Labyrinth)
