The Armourer

The Armourer of the Strange and Wonderful House was the eccentric keeper of the Armory. He appeared as an apron-wearing man with a hawk on his shoulder. He specialised in crafting items which could transform back and forth from being pens and other writing implements to other conventional weapons, thus unifying both options in the old proverb about the pen being mightier than the sword; for example, he carried, in his pocket, a ballpoint pen which could transform into a large automatic rifle. He once showed it off to a visitor who had come seeking weapons and, being unaware of the Armory's peculiarities, was initially taken aback at the racks upon racks of pens.
