Robot Madison's group were eventually joined by the Odds. While she was stragesing with Captain Evening, Robot Madison suggested that if she had the entire Madison intellect rather than just half, she thought she might be able to find a way to shrink the robot, not just keep it from growing. This prompted Hank Richards, Madison's old assistant, previously believed dead, to reveal himself and help Robot Madison achieve just that. However, the Protectors, arriving late at the scene and crucially misjudging the situation, undid most of these progresses. In the end, the heroes witnessed the Solution leaving of its own accord after another [[Agent of the Cosmic Order (Journey Out Of Misery)]|agent of the Cosmic Order]] called it off in recognition of the fact that a human willing to argue sincerely that “the world was worth saving” had been found after all.
