Prior to this happening, Wherever was captured by an unknown party and a full-grown clone of him, with temporal powers, was created. Upon coming out of the cloning tank, this Jimmy believed himself to be the original, having all of Wherever's memories, but a form of mind control was implanted in his brain to make him want to kill Wherever once he realised his own true nature.
