In the [[Magician from Mars]]'s [[Universe (Magician From Mars…)|universe]], the Bridge still existed in the future from which the Magician hailed, when [[Earth]] and [[Mars]] were in regular contact. By then, the stonework was yellow and the ramps were painted a bright red. A [[Builder (On Earth)|man]] once  attempted to commit suicide by jumping off the bridge into the river, but fortunately, the Magician was passing by and halted him in mid-air before he hit the cold water. After getting him to safety, she got him to explain his troubles to her and she set about neutralising the [[Politician (On Earth)|crook]] who had pushed him to this extremity.
