}}Digger-291 was a Mark III Clockwork Cherub of the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids. Though anything but unintelligent, he was never happier than when digging holes, (PROSE: The Resurrection of the Wellsians) a passion he shared with his brother Diggy-292. (PROSE: The Metafictional Meddler)

He was among the Cupids assigned to Morningstar 1. After he was tasked with digging a new swimming pool for the Governor and accidentally unearthed seven ancient, dormant Wellsians, he was recruited by Mandragora-257 as his alchemical “apprentice” in the Great Experiment.
