Marcus Nelson was a college student and friend of Universe Gemini's [[Zed Hudson (Universe Gemini)|Zed Hudson]] (who has a small crush on him). The attraction between the two is subtle, yet mutual, however Marcus was not completely used to the level of weirdness that Zed's life as a part-time superhero seemed to generate. The level of which didn't clearly dawn on Marcus until he was introduced to Zed's friend, the [[Space-nymph|"Space-nymph" known as 'Neila'.]]  

Marcus was an early twenty-something, tall and slim black male with short-ish wavy hair that culminated in a 'Widow's peak' on his forehead and light brown eyes. His jaw, square and clean shaven. He has been seen sporting a black turtleneck sweater under a grey jacket with light grey lapels. ([[COMIC]]: ''[[Zed Vs. The Limitations (comic story)|Zed Vs. The Limitations]]'') He has also worn a tan hoodie over a grey T-shirt bearing the face off the fictional mascot "Mallow-Cat" with a black backpack on his back.  ([[COMIC]]: ''[[Zed vs. Attraction (comic story)|Zed vs. Attraction]]''). More recently, he sported a blue long-sleeved button-up shirt with light blue collars and cuffs and that same black backpack. Marcus, for the most part seemed to be rather mellow, except when it came to dealing with the "super" side of his friend, Zed's life. He remained a bit apprehensive about the existence of aliens, or at least by [[Space-nymph|Neila the Space-Nymph]], and appeared uncomfortable sitting in a coffeeshop full of Zed's other superpowered friends.
