Janni once slew [[Jamek Tagilono]], the Nameless Lurker in the Shadows. She later set out on a quest to acquire “the wisdom of the tiger, a wheel of numbers, and an owl made of lightning”. She encountered [[Jenny Everywhere (Parallax Universe)|another incarnation of Jenny]] in the middle of the wilderness, who had been sent by [[Cha Ni]] to help Janni on her quest. The other Jenny had a flight computer from an [[Everywhere Explorer]], which Janni recognised as the “wheel of numbers” she sought. Insisting that simply accepting the gift would not be fitting for a quest such as hers, she insisted on a wager between her and the other Jenny; if Janni won she would get the wheel of numbers, while if the other Jenny won, she would get Janni's spear, the very one which had slain Jamek Tagilono. With arm-wrestling as the chosen mode of contest, it was an easy victory for Janni who bade her other self goodbye and continued on with her quest.
