He was one of the soldiers assigned to confront [[Lord Grallyx#Summoned to Mystepolia|Lord Grallyx]] as part of the same incident during which Jenny's powers awakened. Though extremely scared, Jimmy tried parlaying with Grallyx; finding him “amusing”, Grallyx tried to goad him into taking a first shot at him, which both knew would be useless and quickly followed by Grallyx “retaliating” with deadly consequences for Jimmy. However, his life was saved when Jenny and Laura arrived in the [[Bubblecopter]], distracting and soon destroying Grallyx. He subsequently sent his thanks to the two.
