Behind the scenes
In the real world, though the lines are blurred in casual usage, Scotland Yard is technically the name of the headquarters of the Metropolitan Police of Greater London, not of the police force itself. In Battle of Britain, however, Chief Inspector Dennis's mention of it seems to treat it as the name of the force to which she belongs. It is unclear if this is Dennis's own imprecision of speech, or if it should be understood that this is one of the ways in which Reality Z-25 31-H differs from the real world.
