Jenny Over:There: The Nine-Two-Five Universe was the title given by Callum Phillpott to their series of prose stories starring their creation Jenny Over-There.

For the first two years of its history, the series was hosted on ArchiveOfOurOwn, with the exception of those special side-stories which saw release within print anthologies. On July 12th, 2024,[1] an official website for the series was launched, on which re-edited versions of the original run of stories were republished, with new illustrations and a Character Index presenting original bios of the principal characters.

Premise

Recurring elements of the series besides the titular character and her universe included the Multidimensional Finders Service, the Man in Grey, Dynamite Thor, and frequent minor appearances by other public-domain or open-source characters.

Mainline Stories

The Mainline Stories, as listed on the official Story Directory of the website,[2] consisted of:

Side-steps

Several stories set in, or related to, the 925th Universe, were written by Callum Phillpott but not published as part of the series. These tales were listed as “Side-steps” on the official Story Directory of the website[2] and notably included 2021's What Went Down at Facebook, a story initially published before the official launch of the Nine-Two-Five Universe series but intimately tied to its genesis insofar as it introduced an early version of the Man in Grey.

Stories by Other Authors

The first use of the characters by another writer than Callum Phillpott was in Aristide Twain's PROSE: Family Business, part of the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids series. This was acknowledged in the main series entry Workplace Reunion, which served as an epilogue to Jenny Over-There's part in the plot.

Starting in 2023, other writers started publishing stories set in the Nine-Two-Five Universe, which had Phillpott's blessing, though they were not listed on the ArchiveOfOurOwn series listing. These included PROSE: Fragment: A & E and PROSE: Set Up to Blow Up by Scott Sanford and PROSE: Who Laws the Lawyers?, a standalone story by Delilah H. Smith also notable for introducing Bunny Everyhare.

Listed in the Story Directory as “Stories by Other Authors” were:

Character Index

Launched as part of the new website, the Character Index comprised short, original bios for the principal characters in the series, penned by Callum Phillpott and occasionally giving new insight into their backstory. It included:
