In Reality Z-25 31-H, Gravitas was the “deranged” brother of the Neo-Atlantean Princess Emily. He was responsible for lifting Atlantis out of the ocean depths. (PROSE: Angel Falls: Vengeance Sought) He was “arrogant and merciless”. By the time she went after Kate Five, Indigo had heard about Emily's “first few encounters” with the now-villainous Gravitas, in which Emily went after her opponent thoughtlessly.
