One incarnation of Jenny Everywhere's grandfather was a Native American man who died some time prior to Jenny's adventure fighting the Brotherhood of Multiversal Oneness.
After she lost consciousness while she was prisoner of the Brotherhood, Jenny found herself in a “place between one world and the next”, faced with her grandfather in full Native regalia. He gave her words of wisdom to believe in herself, also telling her that he believed her special place in the cosmos had been ordained by the Great Spirit so she could help to maintain the balance of reality. Jenny then returned to the waking world, temporarily magically empowered so as to defeat the Brotherhood. (COMIC: The Legend of Jenny Everywhere)
