Department of Literature

The Department of Literature were the “notoriously nosy” department of the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids which dealt with matters related to literature.

On an unknown occasion, the Crew granted them the right to name a newly-discovered uninhabited planet in one universe after the literary reference of their choice. They ended up choosing the name “Reichenbach IV”.

After Conspiracy-1263 used time travel to insert The Christmas Cacophony into the First Folio retroactively, the Department, in December 2021, were abuzz trying to figure out what William Shakespeare meant by the apparent gibberish. At Celebration-665's suggestion, as a Christmas present of sorts, the Department of Discipline temporarily obscured the circumstances of The Christmas Cacophony's writing to allow the Department of Literature their fun until after the holiday season had passed.
