Department of Celestial Bodies

Early on in its history, the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids had a Department of Celestial Bodies, which would have been tasked with making sure the Cupid Homeworld had a Sun and Moon and, accordingly, a proper day-night cycle.

However, its members “all found better things to do” and the Department disbanded, leaving the Homeworld bathed in perpetual daylight with no discernible source. (PROSE: Magic Trick) In actuality, the Department of Celestial Bodies had failed to operate the Clockwork Moon and Clockwork Sun left for them by the Creator due to the lack of clarity of the provided instructions; indeed, they eventually failed so badly that they misplaced the Moon altogether, and they had been looking for it for thirty-two years by June 2022.
