Coach Haggard

Coach Haggard was a physical education teacher at Professor Awesome's junior high school. At one point he caught two boys making out in the locker room and was so discomforted by this that he pestered Professor Awesome into creating a Heteronormalizer for him. (PROSE: Professional Ethics)

Behind the scenes

The character is named for Haggard's Law, an informal observation that "The louder and more frequent one's objections to homosexuality are, the more likely one is to be a homosexual." The observation in turn is named after Ted Haggard, an American evangelical pastor who was verbose on the subject of homosexuality for a while.
