Biography

When the Salamandyrs invaded Automatia, the Automata initially waited in vain for the prophesied return of the Ancient One, but the Captain eventually gathered those who had not been captured by the Salamandyrs in the Void Ship and retreated to the Void. There, passing over the Interdimensional Tavern, they spotted Marksmanship-522. Owing to the vague resemblance, the Captain assumed him to be the reincarnated Ancient One and took it upon himself to have him beamed into the Ship. When Marksmanship refused to help with the situation, the Captain initiated Protocol BR-L4P S4K then had him teleported onto the Salamandyr Emperor's Void Ship whether he liked it or not.

Fortunately, Marksmanship ended up succeeding, partly by accident, in scaring off the Salamandyrs. Just as the Captain was congratulating him for his victory and asking what they could do to thank him, the actual Ancient One appeared, apologising for being late. When Marksmanship asked to be sent home while he and the Captain got themselves caught up to speed, the Captian had 21-419 take command of the Void Ship to fly Marksmanship back to the Tavern, where he recovered his own vehicle. A short time later, he gave the resurrected Ancient One a tour of the modern Automatia to show him how the Order had changed in his absence. As they passed the main square, where a Christmas tree with a blinking star had been set up, the leader left the Ancient One in 21-419's care to go and repair the star, which he had noticed was blinking out of synch with the ambient music.
