An Angel materialised in the parking lot near Jenny Everywhere's home in one universe, immediately after Genevieve, Princess of Everywhere's dream spinner had departed. As it appeared, a thunderous boom shook the street and a bright light shone; seeing the ensuing panic, the Angel quickly told the “mortals”, in a reverberant voice, to “be not afraid”. This did little to calm down the panicking crowd. (PROSE: Pit Stop)
Behind the scenes
Although the entity in the cliffhanger at the end of Pit Stop is not explicitly identified as an Angel, “Be not afraid” is the conventional translation of the phrase uttered by Old Testament angels when showing themselves to humans.
