A zombie was a type of undead with low intelligence. Zombies could handle large amounts of damage while remaining active, but they counted as ‘dead’ for magical purposes.

When vacationing on Kokotomo Island, a magical island where dreams could come true, Merv the Griffin took the opportunity to blow off some steam single-handedly battling hordes of “zombies”, who in this case appeared as gaunt, unclothed creatures with pallid skin, buggy yellow eyes and no visible noses.
