Popeye once posted a photograph of himself eating spinach while driving a car with a turkey attached to its roof on Twitter, captioned "Blow me down! Looks like we're deliverin' the main course in style! Arf! Arf! Arf! Happy Thanksgivin' to all ye! #popeye #thanksgiving". This was replied to by Jenny Everywhere, who simply stated "Hi Popeye".
He later created a post for Christmas, saying "Merry Christmask froms usk all!" with an image of himself with Bluto, Olive Oyl, Swee'Pea, Eugene the Jeep, and J. Wellington Wimpy. This was also replied to by Jenny, who wished Popeye a Happy Christmas. Popeye later made a Tweet announcing his new comic book, Eye Lie Popeye, which could be gained at comic shops for Free Comic Book Day. Jenny replied to this stating that although she'd missed the day, she'd been able to shift to a universe where Free Comic Book Day was "a day and a bit later", allowing her to get a copy.
