Department of Donations

The Department of Donations was a charitable department of the Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids' Cupid Intelligence Institute. Its membership included Charity-563 and Philantropist-926

On December 24th, 2019, Charity and Philantropist visited Philatel-426 in the prefect's office at the Department of Postal Services' building, hoping to convince him to donate some stamps for free so that they could be redistributed to younger Cupids who couldn't otherwise afford to buy stamps with which to writer letters to Santa Claus. Philatel, a stamp-hoarder at the best of times, was additionally wound up against Christmas in general and letters to Santa in particularly, particularly as he kept being sent such letters to deliver and they were stacking up out of control. Consequently, he angrily rebuffed them. However, he had a change of hear over the following night thanks to the intervention of the Three Spirits, and, when he chanced upon the pair while walking up and down the Mainland Cloud on the morning of December 25th, agreed to donate a truly fantastical number of stamps to their Department.
