In Reality Z-25 31-H, Nexus Girl was believed to originate on “a planetoid in the Proxima Centaury galaxy” whose inhabitants were famous for surviving as scavengers and bounty hunters who scoured the rest of the universe for opportunity. (PROSE: Nexus Girl Bio)
Behind the scenes
With one letter's difference, the name is reminiscent of the real-world star system Proxima Centauri, which is not a “galaxy”, being, in fact, located in the Milky Way galaxy like our own Solar System.
