One of the waiters working in the dining room of Hilbert's, the Interdimensional Hotel, was a “looming cube of shimmering jelly”. Having no visible limbs, it used a form of telekinesis to perform physical tasks such as jotting down orders on its notepad. The waiter seemed to have trouble comprehending the notion of “chairs”; Wendy VII speculated that this was because it came from a “Cube Universe” where everyone was a cube of jelly and, consequently, chairs had never been invented, being pointless.
