In 2019, a Victorian man from the 97th Cosmos crashed at the doors of the Interdimensional Tavern after falling through a “dimensional warp” in the Time Vortex. He'd been on a trip through time in a time machine he'd developed, intent on proving to his skeptical friends that it really worked. At the Tavern, he encountered Bibliophile-962, explaining to him that he was working on repairing his time machine and hoped to return to his home world and time before too long.
