In Reality Z-25 31-H, after Alexander the Great's death, the Philosopher's Stone he had claimed during the conquest of Persia passed to Ptolemy of Egypt. It would remain with his descendants until Cleopatra came under threat by Augustus, whereupon Cleopatra's handmaid sent the Stone “down the Nile” to safety. (COMIC: Nula! Naked and Alone!)
Behind the scenes
The Ptolemaic dynasty ruled Egypt for three centuries, spanning a dozen different “King Ptolemy”s. However, the “Ptolemy of Egypt” mentioned in Nula! Naked and Alone! is evidently meant to be Alexander the Great's own general and the founder of the dynasty, Ptolemy I Soter.
